Duties and Responsibilities
- Creating and designing the menu, ensuring a variety of dishes and considering dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Adjusting the menu seasonally, and incorporating trends or customer preferences.
- Overseeing the preparation of food, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Creating recipes and following portion and presentation standards.
- Handling cooking, baking, and various food preparation techniques.
- Managing, training, and directing kitchen staff, including line cooks and sous chefs.
- Delegating tasks to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
- Maintaining a positive work environment in the kitchen.
